The owner of a janitorial supply company was introduced to the McCleery Company and he expressed his desire to redevelop his land into a multifamily building. This project is situated in downtown Salt Lake City in an ideal location for multifamily.

The concept plan calls for a 105 unit condo apartment building with a mix of studio, 1 bed, and 2 bedroom units. The location also lies in an opportunity zone which allows for heavy tax incentives if the building is held for a period of 10 years. Following the recently passed affordable housing bill SB-168, this project is also slated to be the first modular multifamily building in downtown Salt Lake City built with Autovol mods.

Following the city approvals and site development, this 6 story building will go from dirt to full building height in less than 2 weeks thanks to the quick modular stacking process of the prefabricated multifamily units supplies by Autovol. Time is money, and when you can cut the timeline of construction in more than half, this project will be a landmark in affordable and speedy multifamily developments.
